Kent properties 'in demand'

Property for sale in Kent may be in demand among
buyers at present, it has been suggested.
According to Dominic Agace, chief executive officer at Winkworth,
homes in prime areas such as the home counties are proving popular
at present.
He claimed that the more prime the area in question, the more
buoyant the market.
Mr Agace remarked: "Prime London [property] obviously led the way
and now we are finding that the prime markets, the home counties
... are very much in demand."
He went on to state that now the market is "back in positive
territory", more people will put their homes up for sale.
This will result in a rise in choice for people looking to buy
themselves a home.
He also noted that the planned increase in stamp duty for
properties worth over £1 million may impact on the
market.
The government announced the decision during the Budget delivered
by Alistair Campbell in the House of Commons.
