Guide released to help homebuyers enter property market
A guide has been released to help homebuyers looking to purchase a
house for sale in the UK to enter the property market.
The Which? essential guide called Buy, Sell & Move House was
published on Wednesday (September 15th 2010) to provide more
information to people buying or selling houses.
It is written by property expert Kate Faulkner and gives tips on
how to avoid being gazumped or gazundered.
According to Which?, the guide "takes you through each stage of the
buying and selling process, providing realistic guidance on how to
get the best from your agent and solicitors".
The effect of the recession on the housing market has also been
mentioned in the book to advise homebuyers on how to deal with the
changes.
These include the fluctuations in house values that recent findings
from Halifax and Nationwide have revealed.
Last week, the Halifax House Price Index reported that property
prices rose in August, while figures from the latter financial
services firm showed that they fell during the same
period.
