The city of Worcester, in the county of Worcestershire, is a West
Midlands city which is situated almost halfway between Birmingham
and Gloucester. It is located 30 miles south of the former and 29
miles north of the latter.
Worcester has a rich history, the most notable of which can be
epitomised by its cathedral, which was the site of the final battle
of the English Civil War, where Oliver Crowell's troops defeated
