Wadebridge
Wadebridge is a thriving town situated at the head of the Camel Estuary and serving many well known North Cornish ‘holiday’ towns and villages including the harbour town of Padstow, the sailing resort of Rock and the surfing beach at Polzeath. The rugged and picturesque North Cornish coast is a short drive away.
The town itself is a popular destination with tourists being on the well known ‘Camel Trail’ which follows the route of the former Railway Track alongside the River Camel to Padstow and to Wenford Bridge on the edge of Bodmin Moor which is enjoyed by walkers, horse riders and cyclists
The town, partly pedestrianised when by-passed over a decade ago, offers a wide range of services from family run shops and restaurants to large supermarkets. There are two Primary Schools and Secondary School, public library, swimming pool and many clubs and associations.
Wadebridge is situated within an easy drive of Newquay Airport which offers regular flights to Gatwick, stansted, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dublin as well as mainland Europe.
The nearest railway station is Bodmin Parkway on the Penzance to Paddington line situated about 10.9 miles away.
The A30 trunk road, which is mainly dual carriageway, is about 6 miles away and links to the National Motorway Network at Exeter.
